The sound of the engine, a now signature Maserati trademark, is the best part of this car for me. This car is fitted with an F1 paddle shift cambio-corsa gearbox. A single-clutch hydrolic manual where the ECU changes up or down when you use the paddle shifts. Or when in auto mode the ECU changes up and down automatically using the rev range. Every car I have owned has been a manual and I don"t like automatics but this gearbox, derived from the F1 Ferrari team of the late 90s/early 00s is something else! It really does work well and when warmed up on an open B road, there is nothing better. Use a slight dip in throttle and the gear shifts are seamless.
Body workUnfortunately during the winter, when the car was parked out in the street overnight it was scraped by a passing car, I have cleaned up the damage and polished, but the rear quarter panel still has a scar on it. I have had a quote from a local bodyshop repair to fix and the start price and reserve reflect this. I can pass the quote to the new owner. Other than that the body work is in good shape.
I could go on and on with this car it is stunning and I don"t want to sell it ..!
