Originally supplied new in March 2003, by _tbc__, this 4200GT was subject to a bespoke specification, including the gloriously radiant Gaillo Fly yellow paint finish, with contrasting black leather, including the expensive addition of hand finished yellow stitching on all surfaces, including door cappings, internal trim, seats and seat pockets, not to mention the extended colour coded black leather central console and dash top. The extensive specification also included Satellite navigation (updated software/CD 2007), Skyhook suspension, F1 transmission, suede headlining and premium sound system. The interior ambiance is excellent, heightened by the contrasting yellow stitching against the black leather, with heated electric memory sports seats, automatic climate control system, electric windows, mirrors and the option of fully automatic transmission (as well as paddle operated) the car offers two very different driving styles, however all in supreme comfort and style. Recent expenditure and works within the past 12 months include new brake discs and pads all round (£1,200), two new rear Skyhook shock absorbers (£1,600), 4 new tyres and full alignment, a new battery, lube service and an MOT until 11.09.16. Other significant works worth noting include an all-important F1 transmission bleed, by Dick Lovett Maserati in 2015, wheel speed sensor, airbag switch, and rear wheel bearing too. In the past couple of years, the car has also had some other significant works carried out above its routine servicing work to ensure the car has always been in top condition including replacement of the Cambiocorsa hydraulic pump in 2009. Complete with all service and owners books in the Maserati wallet, and incorporating the all important red key cards and stack of documents and history, the car is as complete as one could hope. This 4200GT has covered some 130,000 miles, however the maintenance history is significant and the condition of the car is a testament to this. The car ran very well indeed and performed superbly at the time of our visit without any obvious knocks, bangs, rattles or issues and sounded simply magnificent and certainly turns heads where ever it heads, and is heard!
