For sale Maserati 222e 2.8 injection twin turbo.
It has about 250 -265 bhp -depending on where what you read.
Complete stainless steel exhaust fitted.
This car is a non catalyzer (which improves power by an additional 25bhp over the above figures -and is MOT legal).
This is a good example of a 222e with numinous revisions over its carburetor predecessors and substantially better rust proofing too. It was previously owned by Octane magazines editor.
It has been well maintained throughout its life and likely dry stored, it is in such good condition.
These cars are both diminishing in quantity and rising in value.
The 222e is a sports cars from the 80"s era and must be respectfully driven, as without experience, they have no electronics to assist you -particularly in the wet.

I am well versed with their maintenance (this being my 3rd example) and have carried on with much of the recent repairs, receipts for the engine work though have been recorded.
It has had numerous parts fitted to bring it back to a good working condition
These include:
The timing belt. water pump, oil and filters, new gearbox oil, battery, wiper control unit, oil and water sensors, bonnet struts, ignition system re-newed, new HT cables.
Recent replacements include, tie rods, alternator and a turbo.
New tyres last year, with the wheels correctly refurbished.
Brake calipers renewed.
Relay box re-newed and electrical strip down of dashboard to fix interior fan and and climate controls - now no shorts.
Car in good condition for a UK car and is pretty well rust free, where there is some, it is on door and c pillar, I have had a quote of £390 to have this tidied up, otherwise it is good and the clean, with the engine bay being particularly impressive.
The sale comes with the Octane magazine where it appears in and its original manual pack.
