The time has come to sell my incredible 2008Granturismo, apparently I have “Had my fun” and it is now time to drive something more “suitable”. Fair enough I suppose, as a 3rd car it has only had occasional use really.
To be honest though, I would love to keep this car in my garage forever, it has been a pleasure to drive and a privilege to own such a distinguished marque. I would argue one of the most beautiful production cars ever designed!
The car is Granito metallic which is the very (very) dark grey. There are a couple of stone chips consummate with age but generally the paintwork is excellent. It has the nero (black) leather interior, which is in excellent condition. The 20” birdcage alloys are powder-coated matte black which gives the car the perfect stance.
The previous owner had fitted a prestigious stainless steel Tubi exhaust system by Scuderia Systems UK that gives the rear view two large single tailpipes rather that the standard twin pipes. It also gives the most incredible exhaust note you will ever hear be it on tick over, once the revs are up, or when you decelerate and hear the backpressure popping through the enormous ovals.
Just thinking about driving it still gives me goose bumps. I can’t even describe how it sounds going through a tunnel but believe me, however cold it is you will have the windows down on those occasions.
Current mileage is a mere 37,700 though this may increase slightly as car is in use. I have main dealer service history paperwork for 21736 miles 24/2/12 (HR Owen) and 29057 miles 11/2/15 (HR Owen). The next service is due in February 2017.
To give the car the send off it deserves it has just had a full body ceramic composite coating (9H-LDC Always Dry), this means the car is extremely scratch resistant, repels water magnificently and will not require waxing for at least 10 years!
The car is fitted with a tracker that the new owner can take over if required (some insurance companies insist on these and they are very expensive to fit).
The car will come with a new MOT and has brand new rear Pirelli P-Zero tyres with matching fronts having minimal wear. HPI clear with no outstanding finance or accidents recorded.

Don’t compare this with the usual tired money pits around this price point; I had to inspect many poor examples before I settled on this one. Genuine car priced to sell at £32,500
