Great condition Maserati Quattroporte with excellent full service history. Has had lots of recent work and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.

98,000 miles with just 4 previous owners (one of which was my father). 
It has expensive Larini silencers and has the centre cross pipe / box removed which makes it sound fantastic, has a real bark to it on throttle and does some lovely popping on overrun. It"s still really nice and quiete when cruising (helped by the double glazed windows!) but it does come with a standard centre box which could be fitted in around an hour and makes it significantly quieter.
The car comes with 2 keys, key code card, all owners handbooks, service book (fully stamped up), MOT til April 2016, lots of receipts and the v5 is present and in my name.
The car benefits from the recent fitting of a full set of new shock absorbers. The potentially troublesome and expensive Skyhook shock absorbers have been replaced by a new kit of shock absorbers about to be marketed by a prominent Maserati parts specialist. These have adjustable ride height and 20 position adjustable damping rate. The car is lowered from standard ride height by 25mm. The damping rate adjustment is set to a good compromise of ride and handling and should the driver require it, can easily be adjusted (stiffer or softer) by hand in minutes without even jacking the car up. The front and rear lower wishbone suspension bushes have been replaced with uprated bushes giving much better location without affecting ride quality. All four anti-roll bar links, and front anti-roll bar bushes are new. The car had for some reason missed the dealership re-call which replaced the rear track rod links so this has just been done at JCT600 and at the same time a full geometry check was done. The result of this comprehensive suspension overhaul is a superb driving and handling Quattroporte.  
Some Quattroportes of this era suffer from rust on the front and rear subframes. Those on this car are in very good condition and to keep them that way have been cleaned and coated in waxoyle rust proofing. 
The rear brake discs have been skimmed (the discs are very thick on these cars, this was the first skim) and new pads fitted. Front pads are less than half worn. 
This car, like many others, reminds the driver of TPM (tyre pressure monitoring) system failure, again only a small symbol on the panel (no audible warning). Apparently at this age the batteries in each wheel valve fail. I’ve been quoted £120 by the dealership to have the system turned off so it doesn"t show the symbol (TPM was a non-standard option so it wouldn"t detract from the car to simply turn it off) but it hasn"t bothered me.
The body of the car is overall in very good condition with no notable scratches, dents or marks. Tyres have plenty of life left in them.
The interior again is in good condition and the car wears its miles really well (no tears or cigarette burns). Bose sound system is excellent, the Integrated parrot hands free works really well, aircon blows really cold and the car has inbuilt satnav.
Features rear seat electric pack, an expensive option from new, which allows the near side rear passenger to electrically adjust legroom by controlling the position of the front passenger seat.
This is the second one of these I"ve owned and they represent excellent value for money and prices have definitely bottomed out so can only see them getting more expensive.
