My Mazda 3 Sport 2011 2.2 which was up until September 2019 was a reliable vehicle. Then the unthinkable happened the engine decided to fail. Checks by local garage has advised that the engine has seized up due to blocked oil strainer, informed that this is a common problem with the 2.2 diesel engine
All the other components are working, it also has a brand new battery and recently fitted alternator. the vehicle has part service history and had I had never had any real problems with the vehicle.
The vehicle is up for sale for £700 ONO. It is Mot"d until May 2020. I would rather it be sold to some whom would be prepared to fit a new engine than send it to the scarp yard. Mileage 130,000
