Hi and welcome to my auction for my Mazda 5 Furano 2.0l diesel. This was my partners car for the school run but now the relationship has ended and her new partner has a car, there is no need for this one! Basically I had spent quite a lot of money on this car bit since the split it has been sat unused since December 2016. There are both good and bad points to the car which I will try to give details on but please email me if you need more photos or information on certain things. So I have the V5 document in my name and has an mot but only until April 1st. Good points - Has previously had the dpf removed with a remap so it was achieving better mpgs and won"t get the filter problems that these are prone to, this cost £500. Another common problem I learned after purchase was that they suffer with piston rings going causing big problems... this happened on here but has had a full engine rebuild late 2014 (see invoice pic) with Sol at Eurojap Manchester which included new full gasket set, new set of pistons or rings, set of mains, set of big ends, cylinder head service, oil pump service and replacement valve stem seals which cost over £1800. No major dents or scratches and still looks really nice. The engine has only covered 30k since its major work. No warning signs on the dash. Had 2 new tyres and probably only covered 2000 miles CD changer works fine and the electric windows Bad points - Since its been standing the battery has gone flat and when charged the car still doesn"t seem to want to run? The engine turns over and will sometimes start but stalls?  There is a crack in the windscreen caused by a stone then spread in the cold weather (see pic) Age related wear on the inside and outside Aircon needs gassing the electric socket for the hitch is there working but the bracket has broken Loose gearstick cover So that"s a basic rundown of the car, I"m sure there will be lots of things you need to know so please just ask and I will try my best to answer you. Also open to payment types and duration of auction. Car is located in Mid Wales. I"ve started the bidding at under half just what the rebuild cost and mapping! Thanks
