I am selling this car on behalf of my mother and father who have owned the car for 12 years.
This is a 1998 Mazda MX-5 Mark 2 1.8 Special Edition with Green Metallic paint (Grace Green is the actual name).
UK Car!
4 owners from new. Present owner for 12 years.
Mot until 17th November 2016. All past MOTs present. NO ADVISORIES on current MOT.
Includes all original equipment and documentation: Handbook, Haynes Manual, a stack of receipts.
84,160 Miles
New battery (Panasonic original equipment which was fitted on 11/03/16, costing £96.86). All four tyres are good with plenty of wear left. The car has had regular servicing.
The Cambelt was replaced at 48,000. It is replaceable every 54,000 and is NOT age related so is due at approximately 102,000miles.
Clarion stereo with 6 CD multi-changer in the boot.
The car is in good condition for its age. There are a few light scratches here and there and a little bubbling paint on the lip of the bonnet which could be easily sorted. The car has always and still does run incredibly well. Everything works and is standard. The only negative point is the rust to the rear wheel arches which I have tried to show in the photos. However, the recent MOT did not indicate this as an advisory notice so there is no reason why it shouldn"t pass its MOT next year without question.
