Hi and welcome to my auction of my MX5 1.6 this MX5 is a cracking car and have enjoyed using it this long summer. It’s a great drive the engine is smooth runs very well on knocks or rattles It does not use any oil or water The gearbox is very positive with no crunching or whines. Brakes are very good pulls up in a straight line. The suspension is good no rattles or knocking. Tyres are all ok front right is getting low will need changing before the next mot. I have two extra wheels with good tyres on them which I will include in the auction. Interior is good the drivers seat is a little worn but ok. Heater works really well, Its great driving with the roof down on a cold bright frosty morning (convertibles are not just for the summer) Has a great Alpine CD Player fitted with up rated speakers. I also have the original stereo which I will also include Windows are electric and all work. The MX5 has good service history and lots of old mots. The car was fully serviced recently and the cambelt was replaced 25,000 miles ago 2010. The Car was left under cover over winter by the previous owner and when the cover was taken off the paintwork on the bonnet and the boot was discoloured (bloomed) so it looks like the car has been washed but not leathered off. When I bought the car I was going to get both re-spayed or get second hand bonnet and boot the same colour but when driving it around I got comments about the paint work and how did get it to look like it and how different it looks, so I left it (but it is personal taste) a second hand bonnet and boot lid are about £100 on here. The rear arch is a bit rusty and one of the sills has been repaired. The Engine management light is on I had it read and the o2 sensor is showing low reading The sensor is tested and is ok so its look like there is a earth issue have tried to trace it but to no avail. I must stress The car runs absolutely fine with the light on not sluggish in any way   The Hood is in fair condition it does not leak but is a bit frayed round the edges.
