1991 Mercedes 190 2.0 manual gearbox
116,000 miles but most of these were done in its first 7 years, after that its only done a couple of thousand a year
I`ve had it since may 2014, the previous owner had it since 1998 and there were only 2 before him, the previous being a doctor who had it when it was only a few months old
It has an MoT until July 2015 but has only done about 1500 miles since then as it has been a second car
It is being sold to make way for my new Merc, a W123 estate which I have always fancied
The body is near perfect, not a single dent, not even a tiny one anywhere! Some laquer peel on the door and wing but very minor. 2 very small rust scabs but you would have to walk around the car a couple of times to find them, it is a very tidy much admired car
The interior does let it down though, the drivers door card needs replacing, apparantly the window wouldn`t wind up a few years ago and the rain got in and warped the panel.
Also there is a hole in the drivers side seat bolster. Both easy fix.
No faults at all mechanically, the only issues are that tickover is a bit high at 1500 rpm and also the ABS light comes on sometimes. No idea why, it drives fine. I reckon its due to it hardly being used but can`t say for certain.
Comes with a working CD player with electric aerial. It came with handbooks ans some history but I seem to have misplaced this, hopefully these will turn up before sale, if not I can post them on.
Anyway, come along and see it and make your own mind up on it. No daft offers though please, I have plenty of space so its not in the way for now, I`m not desperate to see it gone
