This is a 2001 Mercedes A140 Avantgarde (which is the top of the range model for Mercedes)
It is far from perfect but is a solid well-built car, selling as spares or repair so you will not be disappointed. No reserve, fell free to call me on 07940 855 883. Will happily consider offers. Sorry no over seas bidders unless you contact me first, I have sold this car twice before, one to a bider in Germany and the other in France, so sorry...
It comes with 2 new front tyres 500 miles old, great condition leather seats, Alloys wheels, Mercedescar mats, cd-stereo etc. MOT runs out 29 September 2016. The interior is in great condition and again very well built. You can tilt up or remove the back seats (split seats so you can tilt or take out the left seat or centre and right seat) which is very useful as it become a small van with the seats out. It has never broken down or had anything major go on it. It has been in the famlily for about 3 years and before this it was owned by an oler lady who had it for many years, it has always had the work done no-expense spared when it was needed. It has always started first time everytime.
It has a dent in the bottom of the door, rust on the back wheel arch, the abs light is on however it only appeared when the brake discs and pads where changed and I have been told this could be the pad sensor which is cheap to fix, but I cannot say for sure. There is also a knock from the back of the car again told not dangerous but again cannot say for sure. I drive cars but don’t fix them so please feel free to bring someone along to look at it prior to bidding if you don’t know about these things yourself. Again selling as spares or repair because I cannot guarantee anything although it has done us well. It has marks on the bumper and other age related marks ie stone chips etc and the alloy wheels could do with a good clean etc, it is far from perfect but it is a sterdy quality car underneath.
