Here I have for sale is my stunning Mercedes C280 auto sport with full c36 options from new. Its a 1997 and covered just under 70k with full service history and lots of receipts. There are not many of these cars on the road and very rare to find one with this spec in this condition. Im only selling as im looking to upgrade to either a C32 AMG OR possibly an older audi S4. Open to suggestions of other cars too. Its used as a second car for my small family and usually only covers about 20-30 miles a week but I have used it to do a few long trips to the coast. Exterior. The car is in great shape. No damage or rust. Comes up lovely when polished up and looks great in silver. It has the C36 AMG bumpers fitted from the factory and this sets the off from the normal ones. Stainless steel ehxaust rear box (not noisy but a nice tone) with twin exit tail pipe. Interior. The full black leather interior is mint and shows no sign of wear. Every switch, button works. Air conditioning is nice and cold. Electric windows all round. Very nice car to be in and very comfortable with all the german build quality. Standard merc stereo that has satnav but I have no cd for it, electronic areal works as it should (3 months old). Engine and gearbox. Due to the car having only 68k and a f.s.h it has barley even run in. These cars are good for 200k+ so this has plenty of life left. The engine is smooth, quiet and has plenty of power if you need it. The gearbox and drive is also smooth and quite, kickdown works perfectly. Winter and summer mode also works on the gearbox. The car is having a service this week and the gearbox oil was changed a few months ago with a new battery at the same time. Wheels and suspension. The wheels have just been refurbished by spit&polish, I had them diamond cut on the face and anthracite on the lip and inserts. 4new tyres after the wheels were done. Brakes are all good and the calipers have been painted black so no rusty crap behind the wheels. The car has been lowered around 45mm all round with springs I had delivered from Germany. It makes the car a bit firmer on the road but still keeps the comfort to make it a nice car to drive. My 7month old baby is quite happy to be in the car and sleep everywhere we go. Underneath. At some point the car has been waxoiled to protect it from the salty British roads. No leaks or damage anywhere under the car. This is probably the best and nicest W202 C280 on ebay at the moment. Im not in a rush to sell and will quite happily keep it, just fancy a new car as mentioned in the advert. Please no time wasters and messers. I will quite happily take any genuine buyers out in the car and will need proof of insurance if you wish to drive it.
