I HAVE FOR SALE THIS LOVELY Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI 3.2 STRAIGHT 6 ENGINE
I"M SELLING FOR A FRIEND WHO OWNS A GARAGE SELLING HIGH END CARS, THIS WAS A PART EX AND HE WILL NOT HAVE A CAR OF THIS AGE ON HIS FORECOURT. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT AROUND FOR A FEW MONTHS AND ITS A PLEASURE TO DRIVE ! I am using the car so mileage will increase slightly

THIS ENGINE HAS A GOOD REPUTATION FOR RELIABILITY AND STRENGTH...
...Although it has a injector problem causing a starting issue where it takes longer than normal to start but a tiny mist of easy start into intake starts it instantly! Once started it runs very smooth and sounds perfect, no knocks or rattles. Now there are bubbles of diesel coming from the top of the injector, if I accelerate to over 2000rpm epc will flash up in the dash and it will lose power. I have changed the main pump, prime pump, rail and the pressure regulator. I haven"t the money, space or time to replace another injector. It does start first time on occasion. It has a great sounding smooth engine but I think its the other injector causing a problem. There is no black tar whatsoever coked up on engine its a s clean as a whistle!
