For sale due to another nice daily coming my way.  Had this car for over a year and its been faultless.  Modded fuel system so as well as normal diesel it will run on pretty much anything.  I have covered thousands of miles on waste veg oil, in fact its been to Romania twice on veg oil. Its had new pump seals (Viton), new fuel lines with Viton o rings, hand primer and extra filter.
The 6 cylinder 3 litre turbo engine (om606) is powerful but still returns 30+ mpg.  Its done over 200,000 but anyone will tell you these are known to have done twice that.  Gear box good, Cruise control, ec mode, 2 x remote key fobs, leather interior, electric windows, central locking, HID bulbs, all working fine. 
I put a set of pads on the rear about 4 months ago and the fronts about 6 months ago,  It had a full oil and filter change in July.
I used this car to go to Paris in two weeks ago and it was just fine, did a round trip of 740 miles and was a joy, just set the cruise for 80mph and that was it for pretty much the whole journey (once I had got off the M25 car park!)
OK so you know how good it is....
But its nearly 20 years old and tatty.  The original boot lid was tatty so I swapped it but its the wrong colour, bumpers are tatty and have some cracks and bad repairs, one of the glow plugs has gone so although it always starts even on the coldest of mornings, the glow plug light stays on for about 20 seconds.  It does need 2 tyres on the front, it was an advise on the  MOT last Nov and both are now on the markers.  The good news is that parts for this car are in abundance on Ebay as are part worns as they are a common size.
Its a great car and one I will be sorry to get rid of, but I have had it a year now and have been offered a pick up, something I have always fancied.  But if it doesn"t work out I would have no hesitation in buying another one of these cars.  I honestly believe you could buy this car and it will serve you well until the MOT expired and it this price its cheap motoring.
All it needs is a new owner.
