Sold as seen, Welcome to the auction of my beloved Mg Zr 160! I bought this as a run around with no intention of keeping it... 2 years ago! Brilliant car, never had any problems.. well until now! the body work needs sorting out which i always knew (see Pics) i was quoted £400 for bumper sorting, bonnet spraying, rust on rear arches sorting and re spraying plus full machine polish and some other work, it was due to go in for the work and unfortunately i blew a spark plug and in the process ripped out all the tread with it.... Sooo was quoted £400 for the repairs which involved getting a helicoil put in and in the process a new head gasket would have been put on as part of the procedure.. no real head gasket problems just its never been done so the repairs would kill 2 birds with one stone if a replacement gasket would bring peace of mind.
This is a great car.. have a look and see how many facelift 160s you can find for sale!! there isnt many believe me!! then go and try find one in firefox red, ive have seen one other and it was not a pretty sight.. so this is a rare car to find if you want to something different from your run of the mill Mg Zr and believe me its alot of fun.
Due to buying a MK1 Golf GTI which is a none runner im reluctantly not getting this repaired and putting my money into that project.

Needs TLC but still is eye catching in current condition its been like this for 2 years and never really bothered me!
