Hi, and many thanks for taking a look at my much-loved Mini Cooper S r56, registered 19 Jan 2010. Now if you are looking at this car, I will assume that you are aware of the bad press that they have had. Timing chains, pistons failing, high-pressure fuel pumps, coking issues and yet we still love these cars as there is just nothing like them! We got this car with one previous owner and over the past four years I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute behind the wheel. I have spent thousands of pounds on this car and have enjoyed making all the mods and upgrading where possible. In February this year (please see list below) I had the engine completely rebuilt (with warranty) and set-up by Aaron Reeve (A. Reeve Performance) Aaron and his team are experts in Mini’s, both in all aspects of tuning and racing his cars/teams with great success, check him out on his website https://arperformance.co.uk/. The Mini runs without fault and is currently producing 262 BHP and has now completed 2300 miles since the rebuild. I have listed the key upgrades below, I could talk forever about this car, why am I selling it I hear you ask, well I am looking to fund my own Mini business with a view to buying and upgrading more Mini’s, behind the tools working on a Mini or behind the steering wheel driving one is where I at home. I know that I am bias, but I feel that this is the cleanest and best prepared Gen II Mini you will ever find.
