For sale is a 7 seater Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear, in good condition. It also has a fully upgraded sound system that cost around £500 to install. This is a Japanese import with automatic gearbox, diesel engine, 4wd and Mitsubishi alloy wheels. The van is fitted with curtains to use as a camper van when the seats are folded flat to make a bed. This is a nice example of a Delica that has been well looked after and has a very tidy interior. Minor defects only that are typical of a vehicle of this age. If you are in the market for one of these then viewing is highly recommended.

Please note that the vehicle is currently SORN and uninsured on a private driveway/car park. This unfortunately means that test driving is not possible, however we will be happy to start it up and maneuver it in the car park to show you that it runs okay.
Servicing Details:


The van has been regularly serviced and MOT’d with oil change. It has a current MOT until 7th July 2015. At the last MOT there were no advisories, we had a full service with oil change, servicing of the air conditioning unit and a replacement tyre. Various small jobs done over the last few years such as new batteries. Many previous MOT certificates, receipts and original sales documents are available from our ownership and before.
Sound System:


The van has a great upgraded sound system fitted - ideal if you like music while on the road. This consists of:
• FLI Loaded 800w amplifier. 
• Double Din JVC KWDB60 head unit (USB, Aux, CDr, Mp3, iPod, DAB). 
• Focal Access 165 A3 component (3 way) loudspeakers with crossovers. 
• Dynamat sound insulation in the front doors. 
• High quality power and speaker cabling.
This system sounds great and goes very loud and bassy if you want it to! I installed dynamat sound insulation in the doors to improve the sound and minimise excessive resonance. Crossovers are installed in the glove box. You can use USB sticks with hundreds of albums, or iPods, CD-Rs with mp3s on, radio or normal CDs. The head unit has the facility for digital radio but there is no digital aerial currently installed.
The amplifier is concealed on a custom-made shelf under the passenger seat. It sounds fantastic. The amplifier runs off of the main car batteries; the van has two batteries fitted so this is not a problem but it is best not to use the stereo while stationary (or at least use a meter if you do) to avoid running the batteries down, since the amp can draw a lot of power.
As a Camper Van:


These vehicles have quite a fan base, and you can use them for all sorts such as off- roading, camper vanning or just as an MPV. We used our as a campervan, by folding the seats flat to use as a bed. It has curtains fitted, no kitchen or wash facilities. We have taken it on several trips through Spain, France and Germany and it has never let us down.
Minor issues:


The automatic electric windows and sunroof are slightly faulty, you can use them but you may need to fiddle around a bit to get them to close again. It drips about one tiny spot of oil underneath per week – not a big concern but worth being aware of and checking the oil level before you go on a long trip. There are a few scuff marks on the rear bumper and a some very minor indentations on the front. The paint on the roof has started to corrode. Minor faults with the warning lights on the dash board (e.g. ‘doors open’ lights up when they are all closed). The passenger side door handle very slightly protrudes, due to an unsuccessful attempted break in while the van was parked in a layby in Europe – not particularly noticeable. The centre dash is not completely flush due to one of the catches having worn down (should be a relatively easy fix but we never got round to it). One or two screws missing here and there.
There may be other minor/superficial/cosmetic defects as you would expect with a vehicle of this age, so please come and view the vehicle first if you are concerned, but on the whole this is a lovely example of a Delica.
Ownership / Reason for Sale:


Prior to ownership this van was owned by my brother, who passed the van on to me due to his relocating to Switzerland. I am now reluctantly selling it since my partner and I are relocating ourselves and it is no longer practical for us to own or park a third vehicle. We’ve had our fun with it and now its time for someone else to enjoy this awesome vehicle!
