Abolsutely fantastic example of a Mitubishi FTO, looking for someone to take her back to her former glory.
Bought the car in October, in the knowledge of what was required to get her back on the road, sat in my garage with all the parts in the passenger seat for 3 months now :-(
In short, inside and out she is in wonderful condition for the her year. Car is 15 years old now, however absolutely no rusting on any sills or underside, nno bubbbling on arches and structurely A1 condition. A couple of small blemishes can be noticed on the paintwork, however really nothig of note.
Inside, the car can only be decribed as immaculate. It really is as good as new. Leather FTO badges sports seats and the dash is as new, complimented by a touch screen TV/CD/DVD/Radio
The car had a complete engine overhaul in Sept 2013 at a cost of £1553 (invoice included in sale). Engine was removed from the car and all main parts replaced - its had new timing belt, cluch, crank seal and full service. At the same time the car had all new, discs, pads, handbrake replacement etc - so piece of mind the car is running lovely.
The car has 100K KM on the clock  - approx 62K Miles
I have litteraly thousands of pounds of receipts and all documentation from the ex FTO owneers club, knowledge that this car has been really well looked after.
When i purchased the car, i had a car check done and was told what was required to get through MOT. I have bought all of these parts and they are included (£280) as follows:
Near and Offside break pipe corroded - parts present
offside macpherson strut has movement - part present
near and offide upper track rod has play - parts present
Anti Roll bar bushes have play - present
New tyres required - 4 new tyres put on with as new tread
So for a couple of hours labour or a hone mechanic, the car is ready to get back on the road.
I am in no hurry to sell and will not let her go for silly money, however i have no time to give her for the foreseeable and i would much prefer someone else had the oppportunity to get her back on the road and enjoy what is surely going to become a classic.
Final think to note - this car is the 2.0 V6 Mivec manual - the most desireable version of this car.
Any check welcome when coming to buy the car but i will not entertain silly offers or tyre kickers.
The car starts and runs first time every time, however obviously not taxed or MOT so picck up is up to buyer.
