Porsche 996 Carrera 2 manual, registered on 02/10/2001, 85,000 miles, MOT until 8th June2017 (but 12 months can be put on prior to sale), full service history, 5 owners, HPI clear.
ExteriorThis example possesses truly stunning bodywork, as demonstrated in the pictures. Every panel is straight with no car park dings, there are no scrapes or scratches, and the Basalt Black Metallic paint work (colour code LC9Z) is in wonderful condition throughout. The car has been subject to a full body machine polish with us at Friends Green Porsche, and as a result glistens beautifully. There are some minor stone chips to the nose of the car, but nothing eye catching at all. The car is fitted with the original 2 piece split BBS GT3 alloy wheels. All four are in immaculate condition and have tyres with very good tread left. This Porsche has the factory fitted optional extra of the M030 sports chassis suspension package, which not only gives the car a better drive, but also enhances it"s stance, lowering it by 10mm.
InteriorThe condition of the black leather interior of this car is brilliant and it could pass for half the 85,000 miles it has covered. The seats have worn incredibly well with minimal wear even to the drivers side bolster. All the carpets, dash, headlining and door cards are in equally good condition. This example boasts a very high spec with; full trip computer with range/mpg etc, Bose sound system, heated seats, sports hardback seats with shoulder supports and Porsche emblem crested headrests, alcantara suede headlining, stainless steel carrera door shuts. Everything works exactly as it should and there are two working key FOBs present.
MechanicsMechanically the car is in tip top condition. The engine is as sweet as could be, starting on the button, idling smoothly and producing bundles of power beneath the right foot when called upon. No smoke comes from the tail pipes, no leaks underneath, and no funny noises heard. As stated earlier, this car has the hugely desirable M030 sports chassis suspension pack, so the handling is even more beautiful than that of a normal 911. The clutch and gearbox are superb, with a lovely smooth gear change and engagement. The brakes are sharp and responsive thanks to the car having discs and pads renewed in each corner a mere 8,000 miles ago.
Service historyThere is a large wad of paperwork with the car. There are lots of old MOT certificates, HPI certificates and other miscellaneous paperwork, and most importantly lots of invoices for works carried out over the years. On 18/11/2015 the IMS bearing was upgraded to the LN Engineering bearing kit, along with a rear main seal and gearbox oil change. Other things renewed in the last few years include; coolant header tank and coolant flush/change, air bag module, battery, spark plugs, brake discs and pads all round. The paperwork presents shows that the Porsche has been serviced routinely more than is required. The maintenance booklet is a replacement supplied in 2011 and shows the following intervals; 28/03/2011 @ 79,334 miles, 26/05/2012 @ 79,661 miles, 19/06/2013 @ 80,036 miles, 30/05/2015 @ 80,987 miles, 22/11/2016 @ 85,587 miles. There is also invoices in the paperwork with the car showing intervals prior to this.

Standard terms and information- 3 month warranty comes as standard.- Preparation for sale: Any mechanical niggles are attended to by our Porsche specialist Porscha Care Ltd, and if a niggle arises during a sale then this will also be corrected. Unless the car has been very recently serviced, it will come freshly serviced by us at Friends Green Porsche. Any notable bodywork issues are corrected, which means any car park dings are removed, and any scrapes, paint cracking etc will be professionally refurbished by our Porsche specialist bodyshop. All paintwork is completed properly with the car stripped of trims, rubbers, windows, bumpers, lights etc as required, and not simply masked up and blown over. Minor bodywork imperfections will usually be left and will be detailed in the advert description under the bodywork section. Every car comes fully machine polished and any damage to seats is professionally refurbished by our upholsterers TrimLine Express.- Any questions are invited and encouraged, however, we try to be as comprehensive as possible in our adverts, so if significant things such as an IMS bearing upgrade is not noted, then there will be no paperwork evidencing such an upgrade. - Viewings are by appointment only and we are flexible as to times, so weekends and evenings can be arranged.
