Here is a quick summary and highlights of the car.
2005 Model Porsche 911 Carrera 2 3.6L Flat Six, 997.1, 6-speed Manual, Black Leather interior with Aero front and 19 alloys.

Please note that a couple of desirable features found in modern cars that are not included in this car are; SAT-NAV and HANDS-FREE Telephone facility. However both may be installed retrospectively and readily available on the second hand market. Particularly as the same components are used on the Boxster and Cayman models.

The above accounts for over 8,000 pounds of maintenance costs throughout my ownership and hopefully shows that this car has been looked after well.
The car is however a 2005 model, so it is not brand new or aesthetically faultless, inside or out. Whilst it is mechanically sound there is wear and tear in line with its age.
For example there is a mark along the top of the driver door inlay card - I returned to my car one day to find that some unknown despicable person had literally put a brick through my window.
The flexible bumper on the front spoiler has suffered from occasional contact with kerbs etc. A new genuine Porsche replacement costs 249 pounds at Design911 and easy to replace.
There are some motorway chips on the bonnet. A ding on the driver side door hatch looks like something (seat-belt-buckle ?) was trapped whilst pulling the door shut. And another ding further to the rear off-side. The most obvious is the Scuff marks I managed to put on the front bumper near side - after forgetting to pull the handbrake.
The air con needs gas top up and finally, there is a chip in the corner of the rear LED light cluster. It"s barely noticeable but mentioned here for completeness.
All things considered this Carrera 2 is in very good condition and there is nothing wrong with it that effects its performance in any way. You can either accept the "faults" or put them right at a relatively low cost and for this purpose I am including a huge discount for the buyer to give the car a beauty treatment after taking ownership to make it perfect.
Rest assured you are in for a treat and there are no hidden surprises here. This auction represents a genuine example of this iconic car with all known faults clearly on the table for would be buyers to consider. I am hoping that my transparent approach will eliminate wasting anyone"s time. If it sounds like the right car for you then we could have a deal, if it isn"t no offence taken.

I highly recommend but it is not a condition of sale, for potential buyer to view the vehicle before they commit. Please call me if you are genuinely interested and have the means to pay for it. (I may consider up to 5000 of the payment to be made by credit card balance-transfer).
I am happy to facilitate test drives to demonstrate that the car is mechanical sound and to show how capable of delivering the performance although I can"t risk losing my licence to show it"s capabilities of 0-60 in 4.7 seconds or official top speed of 177 mph. This is truly an exhilarating street machine.
If you wish to drive the car then you must have a full UK Driver"s Licence and paperwork that I can verify to show you have comprehensive insurance cover in place to legally drive the car on public roads. Unfortunately my insurance will only cover me to drive.
Cheques, bank transfers etc. must clear and appear in my account before I will release keys or V5 document.
This car is advertised elsewhere and accordingly, it may be withdrawn without notice unless it has been sold here and a deposit has been put in place and the buyer has clearly communicated their plans for collection.

Reason for sale is that a Coupe has become impractical for our growing family with two secondary school aged kids. I went as far as buying and running a second car for over a year now to avoid facing this fact but, I can;t sustain running two cars for much longer and the 911 must go.
