PLEASE READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY
A good usable 986 BOXSTER. I have just put 1 years MOT on it, flew through test with no advisories, it is ready to drive away.
It does need a few bits doing but nothing that affects the drive in anyway and is a cheap way into Porsche ownership, only selling as i have purchased another classic Porsche otherwise i would be keeping it, i have been a Porsche enthusiast for over 30 years and know this is a good car for the money.The price is the lowest i will go and is fixed and reflects condition and mileage so please study photos carefully and do not click the "buy it now" button unless you are 100% sure on what you are buying and have the funds to complete and can collect with cash within a few days - sorry to all genuine buyers, you are welcome anytime - non-payers are always reported.Starts first time, no overheating or smoke, hasn"t used any oil or water since i"ve owned it and drives very well for the age and mileage, pulls extremely well in all gears, plenty of power, Clutch and gearbox all working fine.
GOOD POINTS - Full Service History and loads of stamps in the book and no i don"t know if the IMS bearing has been done but going by the history and mileage and being the earlier more reliable version, it never worried me. Last Serviced at 175,003 miles - Lots of service receipts and invoices, it has been well maintained throughout it"s life. 4 Former Keepers HPI Clear Remote Central Locking.
Electric roof and windows all working. Heater controls and LCD screen all working. Tyres all Pirelli P-Zero"s with good tread. Porsche stereo with CD autochanger in the front boot.
Wheels nice and clean, no massive kerbing and still look great.
BAD POINTS -
Paint on top of drivers door and wing has faded - hard to photograph but it is there.
Roof has started to sag underneath rear window, needs glueing or fixing back into the gutter rail somehow - The hood itself is in a good condition, no rips etc.
Interior is complete but is worn and shows in places, especially on seats, all to be expected for mileage - have a good look at the pics. Bodywork - Marks/small dings/scratches and the fading on top of the drivers door and front wing, all to be expected of a 21 year old car. That said, it does still look nice and cleans up very well.
PLEASE DON"T EXPECT A NEW Porsche BECAUSE IT ISN"T AND SHOWS IN PLACES, BUT AS MENTIONED IS A NICE CHEAP WAY INTO Porsche OWNERSHIP.
