vehicle description:
PRICED FOR QUICK SALE - 2004 Manual Ferrari 360 Spider (360M) - late model (54 reg) - excellent condition, FSH, recent belts
Very thick history file (see red binder in pictures!) including cam belts + tensioners last year by The Ferrari Centre
Summary:+ 6 speed manual+ One of the very last, 2004 / 54 reg+ Beautiful condition+ Argento Nurburgring (metallic silver), bodywork in excellent condition+ Nero (black) soft top in excellent condition+ Nero (black) leather with white stitching, electric seats (upgrade), excellent condition (including driver’s side bolster showing only very very minimal wear)+ Ferrari crested headrests, Ferrari crested calipers, Ferrari kick-plates, factory wingshields (i.e. sitting properly recessed into the wings, not aftermarket stick-on ones)+ Fastidious owners with all bills to prove no expense spared, mine since 19k-something miles+ HPI clear (both accidents and finance)+ The car has even been home to the factory in Maranello! May 2016, 2,500 mile round-trip over 5 days. A faultless trip and an absolute joy (see picture outside factory)+ Genuine reason for sale: with an 8 month old daughter (see final pic) I simply never get chance to use her anymore, so she has to go to a new home (and Daddy is looking for a Maserati Quattroporte Sport GTS)+ PRICED for quick sale: I’m told with her mileage, history and exceptional condition she’s worth £80k+ but would like to quickly free up funds and space to buy the Quattroporte
Ownership & servicing details:+ Enthusiast owned: my pride and joy since 19k-something miles. Two years ago I spent £5k at The Ferrari Centre to get lots of little unnecessary things done because I wanted her perfect, for example: front arches rolled (i.e. heat and bend arch lips inwards so no chance the wheels catch them and damage the paint on full-lock, a common 360 issue), undertrays replaced (at significant cost) just to get rid of a wind noise due to old speedhump damage, slightly raised front ride height to help avoid speedhump scrapes in the future, excellent quality smartrepairs to stonechips (e.g. on one wing mirror)…+ Ex-Walkersport car: I bought her from Walkersport in Shropshire. I drove nearly 500miles round-trip from London for this car, because so many different people “in the know” independently told me to speak to Tim Walker if I wanted a 360, on account of his excellent reputation for premium quality cars. If you’re not familiar with Walkersport a quick forum search will confirm what I’m saying, and I wasn’t disappointed, the service and the car were all exceptional. Car can still be seen on Walkersport website under “premium cars previously sold” (pictures with modular alloys on, which I asked them to swap to the “starfish” 5-spokes she’s currently wearing, and before I fitted the rear Challenge grille)+ 5+ owners. Owner before me was also an enthusiast: like me he did lots of unnecessary little jobs as well as the essential maintenance (all documented in history file), including replacing the gearknob after it got scratched (the iconic manual Ferrari gearknob and clack-clack gate need to be perfect!), exhaust removed to be professionally polished and re-fitted, alloy wheel centre caps replaced because the colour had faded a little+ Excellent detailed history file, even including all old MOTs and tax discs, plus all fuel receipts in my ownership (told you I’m an enthusiast!) – ALWAYS Shell V-Power. Email me and I’ll be happy to send you detailed information on the servicing record+ All servicing in my ownership by The Ferrari Centre in Kent -- like Walkersport where I bought it from, a long drive from SW London, however their reputation is excellent and I’ve never regretted travelling to ensure she’s in expert hands. Again do a quick forum search and you’ll see Roger Collingwood and his team at The Ferrari Centre are very well regarded. Cam belts + tensioners (bearings + bushes) last year, new battery this year (had to be replace as like I said, I don’t use her often enough)+ MOTs have very rarely even had advisories, and not for many years (NONE in my ownership). I think it’s a very good sign how well she’s been cherished by me and the previous owners+ Hill Engineering ball joints (a common 360 issue, Hill Engineering replacements are known to be bombproof)+ Always garaged (in my ownership she’s been kept in a warm, completely dry underground car park)
Other details:+ Original Ferrari owner"s manual in leather case+ Original Ferrari tool kit in leather case+ Original Ferrari tyre inflator+ 3 keys and 3 fobs present+ Updated Tracker fitted end 2012 (previous tracker removed at same time)+ Ashtray and cigarette lighter never used+ Wind deflector+ Air conditioning (cold)+ On board computer+ Argento Nurburgring surround to dashboard dials+ Ferrari kick-plates on door sills+ Silver brake callipers with Ferrari branding+ Alloy wheels in excellent condition+ Top quality Kenwood DAB Digital radio very recently fitted (this year) with easy connection to iPod / iPhone (using Bluetooth)+ Car regularly Zymol"d and clay bar’d, washed with two-bucket method only (yes I’m quite geeky…)+ Leather regularly fed+ Only ever run on Shell V-Power (I have every fuel receipt in my ownership to prove)
Please note: rear Challenge grille and private number plate each by separate negotiation
Bad part:+ Unfortunately on the trip to the factory in Maranello this summer (May 2016) she picked up some stone chips on the front bumper, which I think is spoiling an otherwise exceptional car. However, she’s booked in for a full bumper respray to correct this before she goes to her new owner
POLITE NOTICE:+ Please no timewasters. Also, this car is my pride and joy, thrillseekers will not be tolerated. If you would like to drive her I will first need proof that you are covered (fully comprehensive) to do so, otherwise I will drive you and perform any tests you like. All that said, genuine buyers are very welcome! I want to see her go to a good home.
Thank you
