I"ve owned this for nearly ten years and it has been essentially unused, dry stored in my barn for most of that time. It has a 1.8TD engine conversion and is based on a 205Cti. It had a £500 brake service back in "08 shortly before being put away (Bill in history).Being a Cti, it has a power hood, power steering, e/windows, c/locking, leather seats, steering wheel etc. It also has a Pioneer stereo and a fitted tow pack with a removeable bicycle carrier included.I painted it army green in those early years and it has preserved the bodywork if nothing else! The hood, although imperfect, remains weather proof. Later 1.9Gti alloys fitted. It starts, runs and drives but I cannot currently find reverse (rods?)...Some useful spares include another gearbox.
Being a classic convertible, it"s an investible item and an interesting practical project which is very much on the up. This jolly little car regularly and reliably returned 50+ mpg....for sale (as a project only) due to impending house move.I have the V5 in my name, old Mots, based in East Sussex.07979 746226
