Find out where we are Against my better judgement,for sale is my own personal 911 3.2 RS Touring Recreation finished in Grand Prix White with black decals etc.
Originally a pretty impeccable UK C16 1984 911 3.2 with only 95000 miles with an exemplerary service history and complete file having 14 service stamps together with all handbooks and spare keys.Two years ago I gave the car to my good friend Paul at 911 Rennsport based in the cotswolds to do what he and his team do best & build me my 911 RS of beauty and dreams.I collected the car this spring & having driven it for the summer days & approx 1000 miles I have decided to move on to a 911 turbo build.
911 Rennsport have given the car a full professional backdate to RS Touring specification using a lightweight composite 1973 long/short bonnet,new steel wings,lightweight RS front & rear bumpers & the all important correct ducktail and decals.Mechanically the suspension has been replaced to fast road/track settings with full laser geometry.The brakes & wheel bearings have all been replaced.The engine is the bullet proof 3.2 Carrera with low mileage which has been fully serviced with an excellent leak down test completed,meticulously detailed to ensure it looks & performs perfectly with sound to match by means of a full le mans exhaust system finished in matt black.The gearbox is the period correct 915 unit which has undergone a refresh with a Porsche short shifter & wevo coupler fitted giving an authentic silky smooth gear change.The paintwork has had a full frame body restoration & finished in the rare and correct colour code grand prix white with black decals together with two tone Fuchs alloy wheels 7″front and 9"rear with genuine Porsche crested centre caps.The sunroof has been restored & fitted with a new roof linings,new lights front & rear with correct surrounds and black horn grills,Door handles have been stripped & triple chrome plated,front & rear screens have correct fitted polished inserts,door frames & window trims are polished to match along with a correct period single Durant mirror & period heater controls fitted,The underside of the car is completely wax oiled ready for everyday use,The interior is tastefully backdated with the correct salt n pepper lightweight Perlon carpet set,RS leatherette seats front & rear,wevo alluminium doorhandles & a limited edition Magnus Walker Momo Prototipo steering wheel & correct lightweight RS specification door cards with electric windows retained,period toolroll & tools & period number plate to finish.The attention to detail is second to none & the finished car is nothing but outstanding.This car is a piece of art finished to detail & a solid investment!
