In the less than common slate grey metallic, with the beautiful 19” Carrera S wheel this Porsche is a vehicle of sheer beauty from all angles. Clean, tidy and super sharp, it is no wonder so many passers-by have commented on just how lovely it looks.
This 997, being a C4S doesn’t just look pretty. These Porsche were a development triumph.
Classic styling with unmistakable 911 lines, together with undeniably one of the most sorted chassis of any road going vehicle; offering exceptional road holding in all weathers thanks to the sop 4-wheel drive systems yet which still allows the vehicle to have the beautiful agility of the 2-wheel drive version.
The 4 wheel drives also have a wider rear track than the standard 2-wheel drives which besides looking gorgeous, add yet again the vehicles beautiful handling by improving stability at all speed. This highly developed drivetrain and chassis mated to Porsche’s 3.8L flat six producing 355 bhp and a Torque of 400 Nm means this is a properly fast Porsche. 0-62mph in a shade over 4.5 seconds is quick by any standards and this was recognised by Porsche who further developed larger/ more powerful braking system. The results are immense.
When originally purchased from Porsche centre Norwich, this 997 wasn’t ordered to a budget. The original owner spared absolutely no expense to ensure his Porsche was the one he wanted. The optional extra fitted to this 997 are exceptional. Black and sand beige two- tone leather extended to the doors, dash, centre console and seat backs with the addition of Carbon fibre inlays looks exceptional against the exterior Colour. This with the adaptive seats with Crest embossed headrests, short shifter, auto dimming mirror package, PCM 2 (Porsche communication management) with telephone module, navigation, CD auto-changer, Bose sound package, Sports exhaust system, Sports Chrono Plus, TPM (tyre pressure monitors), cruise control, multifunction steering wheel, rear wiper, Park assist and adjustable seat heating. It fair to say that it would be hard to find a Porsche 997 C4S with a nicer specification that this one.
Full Porsche history along with all appropriate brake fluid changes the service record is excellent. As with all our Porsche it will be going through our workshop for a pre purchase inspection and fresh service to ensure the next owner has a Porsche that’s good underneath as it is on top.
This 997 feel like the result of engineering perseverance…., a lifetime of development…, a true 911… where perfection is the only result acceptable.
Every petrol-head should own a Porsche once in their lifetime. To own a beautiful 997 C4S with an options list as long this one has is an opportunity that doesn’t often come around.
