1998 Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 4 - Tiptronic.
Great condition car. This car was purchased from a customer with a blown engine (IMS failure). We (AMS Porsche) rebuilt the engine during the summer of 2018 have enjoyed the car for a couple of months ourselves putting circa 500 miles on the clock and now it is time to pass the car onto the next lucky owner.It is a 996.1 - one of the early 996`s and debatably one of the most desirable a much purer driving experience than some of the later models. Definitely an appreciating classic as the market is realising 996`s are a future classic and this is a great example - unlike many of the tired early ones out there.
It is very nicely spec`d and has thousands spent over the years with various Porsche specialists, including coffin arms, air con condensers etc It has a very clean interior particularly for age (see pics) with heated seats, cruise control, trip computer etc.
It has had the later clear lights upgraded, bodywork is very clean and straight, very tidy car - HPI clear.
Engine has been fully rebuilt to include new liners, pistons, IMS bearing etc. We will provide a warranty with this engine - please enquire for full engine details or with any other questions!
There is service history and manual pack with the car, 2 keys, V5 logbook. The car has been fully serviced at the time of engine installation as well as new battery and will come with a full year MOT.
This car is a ready to go modern classic. Any inspection is welcome I genuinely believe the first to see will buy the car, it is a particularly nice car and with the fresh engine also great value.
