Hi all!
Here is my listing for my Porsche Boxster 1999 2.7 with loads of extras!
Don"t let the mileage put you off, this car WAS an excellent runner and ready for summer (or the workshop to get it perfect!)
This car WAS an excellent runner, I took it for a run to Bluewater and back (around 35 miles) and when I came to start it again, it was lumpy and sounded like it was running on three cylinders. This could be a simple fix as the Check engine light has come on, someone handy with a spanner could have this fixed quickly, however I am incompetent with mechanics. Priced to sell and will need to be towed away! Other than this small hiccup, the car has been an excellent runner, started on the button every time!
I"m going to be honest here, the car needs some work! I bought it as a project back in January ready for summer, however I"ve lost time and want to pass the project onto an enthusiast.
The front bumper needs to be replaced (so I bought a GT3 front bumper for it, this is included, but not installed - primed in black)
The rear bumper is okay, but I bought a replacement (this is included, but not installed - primed in white)
A near exhaust has been put on the car to make it sound awesome (especially in tunnels with the roof down!) installed professionally by Performance Porsche in Yorkshire.
A new clutch, DMF and various other bits have been professionally installed by MrClutch (receipt is present)
New smoked led rear lights
A 7 inch touch screen sound system has been installed, dvd, cd, hands free, Bluetooth.
A new style Porsche read logo is present but not installed.
A new roof is needed (second hand on eBay can be bought for £200 (or a brand new one can be bought and installed for £700) the roof works fine, but has holes in the plastic, a common fault with cars this age.
A new battery may be a good idea as it needs jumping if it sits too long.
It has an Mot until January 2017
A new key would be an idea as the central locking doesn"t work on the button, but works fine on the door.
It had new oil and filters when it was bought.
Umm, I"m not sure what to say about this car! But it runs fine, doesn"t overheat, runs smooth... Cheap enough to insure, good classic sports car for the summer!
