 This is my greatProton that I have to let go having not had it very long. It has a full documented history with a file full of paperwork showing its comprehensive maintenance over the years.
 After spending much time and effort in making it how I"d like it I have to sell because my health issues mean I need a different sitting position with different access (damn it).
 For those that don"t know the Gen 2 model was developed  and engineered largely by Lotus Cars who were owned by Proton at the time. Remarkably ,this gives the car an amazingly flat and stable ride with cornering abilities as though it were on rails......its rather a little secret in the hatchback world!!!!!
The 2 owners before me were from the same family so the car"s history can be verified which is always a good thing, one of the reasons I liked it and spent time and effort on it. This has the economical 1.3 engine and is the GLS based LE specification.
 Outside is lovely inProton"s Chilli Red paint. The tyres are excellent (2 new) with good original and refinished wheel trims and the black trim is good. I have added some bumper corner protectors and additional chrome trim along with Proton branded front window wind deflectors and some mud flaps.
 Inside is almost as new with Proton"s beige colour scheme. I find it very attractive with a sporty dash design and driving position. It comes with original Proton carpet over mats and I have fitted quality seat covers in order to keep the upholstery in fine condition. Indeed, I had the upholstery professionally valeted and shampooed prior to fitting the covers (which I imported from Californiabecause I couldn"t find any decent ones elsewhere) and if you don"t like them they can be removed in minutes. There"s a stupid matching steering wheel cover too that is actually amazingly comfortable to hold so I left it on but it"ll come off in seconds if you think its more ridiculous than I do! Everything works as it should and is clean and ready to go.
There"s a good equipment tally too with the usual and expected remote locking, front electric windows and airbags. It also has air conditioning, reverse parking sensors, a trip computer,  Isofix seat fittings, a Blaupunkt quality standard fit CD Radio and so on.
It drives with very light steering and a good view through the low screen from the sporty driver"s seat. There are no rattles or knocks and it tracks and brakes straight.
 Under the bonnet is all in order with clean looking fluids and the cambelt was done 3 years and a few thousand miles ago and will be due again in around 4 years time.
 Underneath is all good with an exhaust in fine order and there is no evidence of anything undesirable while the spare wheel is in the boot well along with the tools.
 There is a stamped service history book, an MoT history print out, 2 working remote keys and a wallet full of Proton books and manuals. The current MoT certificate shows 2 advisories for front tyres but I had them replaced just a few weeks ago so there should be nothing to worry about. There is a wealth of paperwork denoting all or most of the care given from when it was new which I have placed in date order in a ring binder...as if I had little better to do!
There are some things I need to make known
 While I have already described the car it does have a few minor issues. The bodywork has one or two dings and a scratch or three and I have touched in numerous stone chips. The air con is disinterested and probably requires a re-gas and after having the front tyres replaced a rubbing noise (probably a stone caught in a brake pad) became apparent which is currently improvng to the point where I wonder why I mention it!!! None of these things take anything away from what is a decent family car.   
I hope I’ve described it adequately and the photos should be of sufficient detail to offer as honest a summary as possible but I will, of course, answer any questions you may have.
