Proton Gen2 gsx 1.6 engine 2006. Tax jan 2015 Motd nov 2015. Bought it a couple of years ago not expecting much from the car so I used it as a work horse whilst we moved and ever since. And have found that I underestimated the Proton as it has been the most trustworthy car I have ever owned. The car was cat C when I bought it and looked brand new but now its looking a bit shabby but will clean up with some attention. Iv used it every day and clocked up 30k with no problems. Although it will need a wheel bearing some time soon. Cons Chip in screen (treated and always good for mot). Front fog lens cracked. Wheel bearing. Slight dent on door sill (check pic). Wear to leather seat bolster. Pros Strong engine & body. 48k low mileage Loads of life left. I get at least 40mpg, has A/Con, 4x E/windows, PAS, E/mirrors and rear parking sensors. Just to add in response of questions, No smoke! No warning lights! No overheating! And No nasty noises! Car is very good and very reliable. And also just to state the obvious you will need your own insurance to test drive as I am no longer insured on vehicle. Many thanks
