Here we have a Proton Impian 1.6 Automatic with 11 months MOT.
Don"t let the budget car image scare you off!! These are very durable reliable cars. They were the car of choice for Humberside police and many a taxi driver in the Humberside region, which should give an indication of their durability! (picture in the images section) I have seen examples with 190, 000 miles.Proton cars are built in Malaysia. Their origins start with mitsubishi, then they bought Lotus who helped them develop the Impian which is based on a Mitsubishi but Lotus sorted the handling and the Cam pro engine. Drive and you won"t be disappointed.
This is a very clean low mileage example (only 50,000 miles) It"s been well looked after and flew through the MOT.
There is the usual minor age related wear and tear, the central locking doesn"t lock all the doors on the button so you have to lock them yourself (the price I"m asking isn"t worth me fixing it, but I can do so by arrangement!!)
I used it as a run around for a month and covered over 1000 trouble free miles. My last trip was from Hull to Ayr and was very pleased how it performed. It averaged 45mpg as it cruised effortlessly at 70mph and there were no knocks or bangs. I"ll be sad to see it go but it will serve someone well. Viewing and test drive recommended and welcome.
To finish off here is a list of equipment fitted.
Abs, central locking alarm immobiliser, electric front and rear windows and mirrors, adjustable steering wheel and drivers seat, drivers airbag, folding rear seats, alloy wheels, and ice cold air conditioning.
