Welcome to the auction of my lovely car I have owned this since 15/10/2005 - over 9 years!
The 2001 Proton Satria with 76k miles on the clock (motorway miles) only two owners since new.
I had intended to have this as a track car as it has Lotus suspension and great power to weight but my friend who I was going to do this with has a new child and my knees will not allow me to carry out the work :(
This model has a god luck body kit as standard is cheap on insurance, has very nice looking alloy wheels and I had a custom exhaust made from stainless steel, a exhaust pipe comes out either side of the rear of the car the back pressure has been balanced / lowered.
Starts first time every time,
Good bitsIts a very quick car with cheap insurance, I have owned both this and the 1.6 and I have driven the 1.8Gti there is very little difference
Handling by Lotus
Stainless steel twin exit exhaust, one either side of the rear of the car that was custom made, it sounds great and they balanced the back pressure
Listed as Gold in colour but more a very nice Silver colour
Very attractive alloy wheels
Tyres are good
Loads of paperwork,
Fuel pump was fitted a two weeks ago with 6 months warranty Bad bits
The revs & speedo sometimes do not work I am told is either the sender unit or a loose connection / earth
the car has some small areas of rust and a couple dents and would look great with a paint jobThe stereo is currently a Sony blank face, linked to a 10 disc sony unit and has the remote control, this is not included, the standard unit will be sold with the car, unless you contact me because you are interested in the unit.I have this listed elsewhere so reverse the right to removePlease no silly offers, I could easily strip and sell the alloys, the exhaust & engine / gearbox etc Looking to sell this on to someone who will enjoy it
