Here I have for sale my Vw Golf Mk2 GTI 20VT finished in Diamond Black with 174,185 genuine miles on the shell. The 1.8 20V engine had 90k on it when it was converted. The engine was out of a MK4 Golf 25th Anniversary Edition. The conversion was carried out by Trix Of Dunfermline, the car has been maintained at any cost. Interior is completely standard 16V rainbow pattern in very good condition. Running a K04 turbo and has been mapped to 240 BHP however feels considerably quicker! Running OEM management with full diagnostics. Brembo brakes with drilled and grooved disks, strutbraces, VR6 Splitter and forge recirc valve, hard piped with silicon hoses from front mount intercooler. It still has the MK2 clocks! It a stainless steel downpipe onto a full custom built exhaust system, it sounds amazing! It is on a (J) 1992 so one of the last ones. It has had 15 previous owners but has been well looked after. In my opinion with a bit of work on the exterior it will be one of the best 20vt’s about. Looks totally original and still is badged as a 16V GTI. This car has loads of paperwork and receipts of work that has been done to it over the years (3 Folders Full.) This has all come from previous owners. MOT expires February 2019. 2 sets of Keys. Toad alarm. Electric front windows. Pioneer stereo with an AUX fitted. Momo steering wheel. Sitting on 15 inch Compomotive alloys. It has been lowered on Koni adjustables. Runs great. The performance is outstanding for its age, it has to be driven to be appreciated. Interior is mint except for the sagging headlining. Exterior has a few rust patches main one being on the rear quarter which is expected due to its age. Very reluctant sale however I’ve had my fun and is now time to move onto a new toy and let somebody else enjoy it. I’ve got loads more pictures which can be sent upon request.
