This is a very rare chance to buy one of these classics in such outstanding condition for such a small amount of money! Don"t believe me? Then search the internet for yourself and find the same car, in the same original and astounding condition, with such a detailed history as this one for less than £5000.00. I guarantee you that you won"t!
I have spent many hours looking online and in magazines at these cars ranging from £800.00 to over £9000.00, but I have not found any In this condition for less than £5000.00.
For a car that is 28 years old it is in amazing condition inside and out.
It has been owned and cherished by an elderly gentleman for the last 12 years, who has maintained the car meticulously with a written service history and invoices to back it up (see photos). The Gentleman was also a member of the Mercedes-Benz owners club for the last 12 years where it has been in shows.
It comes with electric windows all round, electric sunroof, central locking, original radio/cassette player (with 1 free cassette), unmarked original Mercedes checked upholstery and an original Mercedes fitted detachable tow bar.
The engine starts on the button and runs perfectly with the gearbox changing smoothly through all the gears. For such an old car it pulls like a train and is an absolute pleasure to drive.
The car does have a few very minor things that are preventing it from being in A1 condition and these are that the bonnet has two £2 coin sized areas of what look like some kind of filler, the sunroof paintwork is slightly pitted, there is a small hole/crack in the trim on the dashboard (this is removable) and there is a small dent on the n/s rear quarter.
I would say to spend somewhere between £200-400 on this car would put it up there with the top ones that are on sale for up to £9000.
