For sale is my Saab 9-3 VECTOR SPORT TID.
Car is in good condition, leather interior is excellent considering the age and body work is in excellent condition.
Car has climate control, cruise control, air con, CD player and fantastic MPG. On a recent trip away with the family I managed just short of 750 miles out of a full tank of diesel. Car is MOT"d until October 2017.
I purchased this car in October last year in good faith but sadly the seller saw fit to sell a car which had a fault to an unsuspecting family. Therefore, after losing a bit of affection for the car, I have decided to keep my old car and sell this car on. It"s not my way to be dishonest and attempt to trick decent people and I"m prepared to accept under the book price to sell and I"m being open about the fault.
Fault: The car has an intermittent fault which causes excessive exhaust fumes to be emitted from the car. This isn"t constant and there doesn"t appear to be a pattern to as to when this happens. I can go weeks without it happening and then for seemingly no good reason the fault occurs, only to disappear as quickly as it came. Apart from looking unsightly, the fault doesn"t appear to effect the car or it"s performance. I understand that this fault is related to the Diesel Particulate Filter regeneration and is a minor issue and relatively easy to resolve. But honestly, I have just decided I prefer my old car and have chosen to keep that and re-sell this one.
Similar cars are currently listed on eBay and Autotrader for anywhere from £1195 to £1695. £900 is a bargain for this car!
This is a decent family car, clean and tidy inside and out with great fuel economy while having decent power.
Car will be sold as seen with no returns as I"ve been open about the fault on the car.
Location is the BD20 area.
