IT COULD BE RUNNING RESTORED AS IT APPEARS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION UNDERNEATH AND FROM AN INITIAL INSPECTION DOESNT REQUIRE ANY WELDING TO THE CHASSIS, THE BODYWORK OF COURSE IS FIBREGLASS, THE LAST OWNER BOUGHT THE CAR IN 1995 AND RAN IT UNTIL 2006, IN THAT TIME IT HAD A FULL ENGINE REBUILD, REPLACEMENT GEARBOX, CYLINDER HEAD, STEERING RACK, AS WELL AS LOTS OF OTHER WORK, WE HAVE RECEIPTS FOR ALL THESE ITEMS AND MORE, INCLUDING A MANUAL AND SOME SPARE PARTS
THE CAR APPEARS TO BE ALL STANDARD WITH ITS 848CC Reliant ENGINE WHICH WHEN RUN AND WARMED UP SOUNDS SWEET AND THE GEARBOX AND CLUTCH ARE LIGHT AND RESPONSIVE AS IS THE STEERING, WE HAVE JUST GOT THE CAR TO THIS STAGE, WE CLEANED A SMALL AREA OF BODYWORK AND IT ONLY TOOK A COUPLE OF MINUTES, A PAINT JOB WOULD FINISH IT OFF WHEN ITS READY BUT WITH A GOOD CLEAN COULD BE USED AS IT IS
