Renault MEGANE Scenic 1.4 litre petrol. This is a very well maintained MEGANE Scenic which has had only one private owner since it was nine months old. These cars are great dual purpose vehicles comfortably seating five people (with three proper seatbelts in the rear). The three rear seats and parcel shelf can easily be removed by one person in less than a minute (literally), leaving a flat loading floor with more space than many small vans (see picture). Any combination of rear seats can be left in if needed. There are also plenty of storage bins in the car. The car has MOT until November and has recently been serviced. It is HPI clear. The car is all original and has never been modified in any way. The pearlescent red paintwork is in great order and shows only minor usage marks when you look round closely but nothing that detracts from the overall smart appearance of the car. The bodywork is very straight and all the original panels fit well. The wheeltrims are in good condition and all the tyres on the car are excellent. The interior is clean and tidy. It is dry throughout and shows hardly any wear. A full set of genuine Renault tailored floormats are fitted. The original radio is still in the car with steering column controls and the security code is with the handbooks. The car has tilt steering and the drivers seat is height adjustable. The boot area is very clean and the spare wheel and tools are present under the floor. The seats are all still firm and comfortable although the centre rear seat has been replaced at some point and is a slightly different colour to the rest (not too obvious unless you are looking for it). The fluids are clean and up to the correct levels and there are no oil leaks. The battery is not very old and the exhaust solid throughout. The engine starts easily every time, all the warning lights on the dash all work correctly and go out as they should on start up. The heater warms up quickly and blows on all speeds. The engine runs smoothly and quietly. On the road the car drives very well. The performance is pretty good for a 1.4 petrol. The gearbox operates well and the clutch has a good biting point. The steering is light and the brakes keen and well adjusted. Overall a very practical car with space for five people; the load capacity of a van and with this one being the 1.4 litre, pretty much the same running costs as the 1.4 Clio!!
