I am selling my VEL Satis Privilege - this car is like a lounge on wheels! The VEL Satis is a very rare car in the UK these days. It is extremely comfortable, this version is automatic and is in very good condition for its age.
It runs really well, and has never let me down and does around 34 MPG, which isn"t bad for such a big car!
As you would expect from a car of this age, there are a few little things not quite right with it, such as a wing mirror that is slightly the wrong colour, the corner edging of the bumper just needs sticking back down (see pic), and although the radio works fine, I haven"t been able to get the CD player to work.
Apart from that, everything is great. The tyres are all in good condition. Two of them were new when it was MOT"d in Feb and I had another new one put on a couple of weeks ago. I also spent about £500 on new break pads at the same time.
The VEL Satis was the model of car that French Presidents used to have, and it was also used to transport the Queen when she visited France a couple of years ago, so it is pure luxury. There are also loads of secret compartments in the car, which the kids love to find!
It"s MOT"d til the end of February 2018. I will consider sensible offers.
