Now this is rather special!
An absolutely stunning late model SILVER Shadow 11. Registered June 1981, this must be one of the last produced.
Finished in Le Mans blue with beige hide and blue carpets. A new full set of complimenting blue over rugs have just been fitted. A fabulous colour combination that is such a refreshing change to the drab colours you find on most of these.
The exterior of the car is simply exceptional and it"s really hard to believe this car is 35 years old! The interior is just as wonderful with beautiful wood veneers and original leather in first class condition – it"s just as it should be, not painted and ruined like most! Just lovely and supple with a great patina created from limited and careful use. Such a great place to be...
It drives as well as it looks and how a good low mileage example should. By the end of the Shadow 11 production Rolls Royce got it just about spot on. They can be driven leisurely and provide fantastic comfort but, when needed, can press on with decent handling and plenty of power from the superb 6750cc V8. We have just had fitted a new set of the correct Avon whitewall tyres to improve it yet further. It even has locking wheel covers...
The last owner had it for nearly 20 years.. Maintained by Broughtons of Cheltenham and, although he only covered one to two thousand miles a year, he was very fussy about the maintenance. It certainly shows!
Overall this is an amazing find - a great colour combination, fantastic condition and low mileage.
You will regret it for long time if you miss this one!
