A most extraordinary and rare vehicle  - to put to work or play. I bought the vehicle on a whim as part of my collection as I had never seen another like it. Unfortunately, ill health means I will spend less time in UK and so I maust rationalise the vehicles I keep to those I am likely to use.This is the only living example of this body style I have ever seen. Converted from a regular wheelbase 1988 fuel injected Rolls Royce Spirit II many years ago it is unusual in that it has the same raised roofline and "Hooper" style rear window as the Park Ward Touring Limousine, yet is configured as a "formal" limousine with front facing seats. Furthermore the coachbuilder has gone to great lengths to add a concealing panel to hide the division which is usually unsightly when viewed through the door glass.This conversion must have been undertaken at great expense, as it involved raising the roofline by some 3 inches, as well as modifying the doors and rear quarters - At first I wondered if the car had ever been armoured for state use as it does look reminiscent of some of the Brunei creations but I do not believe that to be the case.In recent use the vehicle has performed sterling service in the Funeral Carriage trade and is entirely suited to return to that role or some similar formal use.  I had originally planned to change the colour to a Gunmetal Grey and refit the rear in the style of a Maybach with extending seats and  immersive technology to create a quite unique vehicle.  My illness has regrettably put such plans on hold - perhaps someone else will pick up the baton??I acquired the vehicle direct from a funeral fleet with no real service history, however it runs and drives well. As a formal limousine, I doubt that it has ever been terribly abused, and indeed as a working vehicle I suspect was always required to be serviceable. Whether for commercial use or for fun this is a quite remarkable vehicle  - currently on SORN, it goes for MOT later this week so should be ready for someone to drive away.Inspection welcome and encouraged as you bid to buy not haggle after the auction end. Winning bidder to pay deposit of £250 within 24 hours of auction end.
