vehicle description:

Honda 1.6 Petrol Engine & Honda Automatic Gearbox, Genuine 116,000 miles. T-bar Sun Roof. Tax runs out end of September so new rules apply. (New owner has to tax the vehicle & is no longer carried over). M.O.T’d until the end of March next year (2015). Full factory fitted black leather interior with red piping in lovely condition, passenger & rear seats hardly ever used, (see photos). Brand new old stock original ROVER car mats all front & rear. Original glass sun roof storage bag.
Massive history file which includes invoices for work carried out, receipts for parts, all old M.O.T. certificates, old tax discs plus original handover pack from David Turner Cars of Newport.
Stamped service history to 60,000 miles, then specialist to 90,000, then serviced by myself until present day, all bills for service parts as proof. Cam belts were changed at 74,000 miles and then again along with all ancillary belts when a new radiator & water pump was fitted at 89,000 miles. Head gasket replaced at 104,000 miles.
Car has been enthusiast owned, never smoked in, cigarette lighter perfect, never raced or rallied. Car comes with PAS, ABS, remote central locking with 2 keys & 2 fobs, ROVER alarm & immobiliser, front & rear fog lamps, original ROVERRDS radio/tape player, electric windows and mirrors, heated rear screen. Everything works as it should. Original owner’s handbook & service book in the original wallet.
Included in the price is a second set of wheels although the tyres are shot & need replacing. Original jack, wheel brace and spare wheel are perfect (see photos).
I am the 4th owner of this vehicle and have owned it for 2 years and in that time have carried out the following work:-
·         New radiator, water pump, cam belt, alternator belt & power steering belt. (as previously stated).
·         New brake discs & pads all round.
·         New LH & RH engine mountings.
·         New Stainless Steel rear silencer.
·         Rocker cover & rear brake dust covers powder coated red.
·         Battery tray & mounting bracket powder coated gloss black.
·         Various brackets shot blasted & repainted satin black.
·         Various bushes replaced.
·         New HT leads & spark plugs etc.
·         Head gasket replaced at 104,000 miles January 2014.
·         Carbon fibre wrap on clock fascia and heater control fascia. Original walnut one available.
And now for the Bad points:-
·         Car received light damage to the driver’s side front wing & corner of the bonnet on a car park looks like from a four wheel drive or something similar. (see photos).
·         About a 4” (100mm) crack in the windscreen so will need replacing before next M.O.T. Hasn’t encroached any further but then no hard frosts yet!
·         Slight bubbling on passenger side front wing. (see photos). Both front wings were re-sprayed by previous owner because of bubbling around side indicator repeaters.
·         ABS warning light is on permanently. One sensor has been replaced I suspect the other one has failed?
