Reluctant sale of my Rover 25, 2003. less than 80,000 genuine miles. reason for selling is we have 3 children under 5 and with the new car seat laws, we cant fit 3 high back carseats in the back seats at the same time!
took her for an MOT this morning and she sadly failed, however i have paid out for the work to be done (£240 - nothing major. all MINOR jobs, its the labor ive paid for as i dont have the time to fix the parts myself!) so she now has a FULL 12 MONTHS GENUINE MOT CERTIFICATE (which seems a rare thing on ebay nowadays!)
absolutely stunning car for her age! no bumps, bangs, dents or scratches (there is a rather embarassing powered by pixie dust vinyl sticker on the back which i will remove if required). Internally there are no rips or stains to seats or footwells, clean, tidy and overall well looked after and much loved car. Please note, she doesnt have a CD/Tape or radio player (this was taken out as my wife is a channel flicker and theres nothing worse than driving a car whose radio buttons are continiousy being twisted and turned with only half a song playing before she changes her mind! upon taking it out, ive consequently lost it but if i do find it, you can gladly have it! - and my wife too if you so wish! LOL)
she comes complete with a towbar and i must say, they have some pretty good pulling power between them as she as dragged my missus along on a number of occassions, without so much as a grumble (usually when shes been kicked out of the car for singing or pressing buttons she shouldnt be touching) - LOL im joking (i couldnt possibly kick my missus out the car - she"d annihilate me - yes she told me to write that!)...
but.. on a serious note, she can pull a trailer or maybe even a small caravan.
mechanically very good, low miles for her age. no knocks, bangs. only thing ive noticed is if you start her on a cold morning, she will kick out smoke for a second or two (although as it is only cold mornings, im assuming this could be just heat from the exhaust reacting with the cold air!). tyres/brakes/seatbelts are all working as they should do. Very smooth rider and is very quick considering shes only a 1.4. She would make an ideal car for a beginner. Very sporty looking too considering the other cars of this type.
Please note that pictures will be uploaded in the morning at some point as i am treating her to a last farewell at the local car wash and Valet. Her miles will rise slightly until she is sold as she is used by us every day.
