Here we go!It’s a 22 year old Range Rover p38!!If you haven’t had a read about these then I suggest you do.Going to make it really easy, I’m going to list the good bits and bad bits:
The good4.0 litre engine starts and runs great, no temperature issues, no misfiresAutomatic Gearbox is silky smooth in all settings Headlining has been done which is rare!Air suspension works great, goes up and down nice and quickL322 headlights with HiD lightsTerrafirma shock absorbers, improve handling but ride is a bit harsherDVD players in headrests, one has spliced wires so needs reconnecting upMOT until June 2020Stainless steel exhaust sounds amazing and mean!No tears or rips in leather seats4 very good condition winter tyres with lots of treadHead gasket recently done, no paperwork thoughThousands and thousands of pounds worth of receipts over the yearsAmazingly low amount of rust, none on wheel arches which is very rare for this age of carPersonalised number plate included
The bad :(Drivers door lock needs looking at, door locks fine by pushing the lock bit but won’t lock or unlock by pushing button key.Putting window down on drivers door sometimes opens door. Probably all related and just needs a look at.Sunroof leaks a little after heavy rain - very common!Body work isn’t great, crack in bumper, lacquer coming off and some big paint chips as in picturesRight hand side fans inside only blow hot air, something to do with hot/cold flap...I just close the right side if I want cold and then turn up the left side
I don’t really know what else to say, please be realistic, you are bidding on a 22 year old car! These were £50,000+ when they were brought out so expect higher than average running costs.
This car is really reliable and great fun to drive in all conditions.
