Rare 1.3 Diesel Model, badged as a Piaggio Porter but the same as a Daihatsu Hi-Jet. Starts and runs well but sold as seen with no MOT
I bought the diesel but had a petrol Hi-Jet in slightly better nick so used the doors and tailgate for this one. We used it regularly until 18 months ago but the engine starting cutting out occasionally so I parked it up meaning to spend some time and money on it - and never did!
Took it for a 6 mile run prior to advertising it and it ran fine, if a little hot.
With a little time spent this could be an excellent fun vehicle or small workhorse.
Very economical Only 67000 miles. 3 good tyres (4th will need replacing soon). Radio (not connected)We had a new stainless steel exhaust custom made about 3+ years ago. Still seems fine. Horn and one headlight bulb needs sorting. Everything else seems to work ok/Needs back wiper bladeBoth side doors slide but could do with adjusting and one handle doesn"t work (won"t open from the outside)Some surface rust patches starting to appear
