Reliant Rialto I began to restore this Reliant 2 years ago, however I"ve lost motivation and cant justify keeping it dry stored but cant bring myself to leave it outside.I found the car in a sorry state, removed the body and engine, stripped the chassis, even though this has a galvanised chassis gave it a fresh coat of zinc paint. I painted all parts, resprayed engine bay and stone chipped the entire underside of the shell. I then replaced the following:
New wheel cyindersARB bushesNew rear shocksEngine mountsI had a new swing arm fabricatedSwing arm bushesComplete brake pipe set (not yet fitted)Shock bushesElectronic ignitionNew higher amp chrome alternatorSilicone hoses Air filterOil filter HT leads Thermostat housing Clutch release bearingGearbox sealTrack rod and trackrod endsClutch springI had sump repaired and sprayed
The shell is back on the chassis as shown in the pictures but requires bolting down, all parts are there. There are several jobs left to do for instance cooling system, plumb brakes, seat belts ect.I have video of engine running, I do not have the v5 but do have the green slip to tax.Open to offersQuestions and viewings welcome017528704807432151072
