This car was one of my late Fathers, not been used on the road for some time. It is being sold as "spares or repairs" as I suspect it is/was overheating.
Before he was took ill he spent a bit of money on the car, it has a brand new carburettor and brand new 4 branch manifold, I don"t recall how much they cost but I"m sure they cost him pretty much what I"m asking for the complete car.
I have jump started the car today, it started easily, when it is running the water from the radiator is pumping out, so I suspect the cylinder head/blockage/water pump/blocked radiator or something else is at fault. I am no mechanic but the car will need towing or trailering away. PLEASE DONT THINK YOU CAN DRIVE IT HOME. As I mentioned the car was jump started as the battery was flat, I"d consider the battery as no good, if it does charge up okay then this will be a bonus.
It ran out of Mot the end of 2014, I have the V5.
The interior is okay, electrics all seem to work, though admittedly there isn"t a lot to check!
Bodywork is okay, needs a decent wash.
There isn"t a lot more I can say really. Priced realistically for a quick easy sale, only view if you have the means to tow or transport it away. It is stored in Ancoats, Manchester, M40 7FS.
Viewing during office hours of 08.00-17.30hrs. Weekends okay by prior agreement. (Please note I am away and unavailable Saturday 25th June). I will not take offers at the price asked, I"ll just keep it in storage, so please be realistic and not cheeky.
