You are bidding for my 1987 Reliant Rialto GLS, which I have only just taken off the road due to failing it`s MOT test. It has failed it`s test with perished rubber boots on the track rod ends and problems with the anti-roll bar, so shouldn`t be that hard to fix and get back on the road.
With this car reliability has always been my importance not looks, it has fibreglass damage to the front wing and door, but they was low speed car park bumps.
They are things like; the seal on the tailgate door is letting water through, and the driver’s window winder not working.
But this car as been my main means of transport to work for 11 years, and the only let me down once where it stopped after about 10 miles , but after checking the water pump , carburetor , replacing the plug leads , plugs , points , cap , etc , etc , etc , found it was only a blocked fuel filter ( only found this inline filter when I replaced the fuel lines ).
I have just replaced the alternator which just cost me £85
