“runs really well, no leaks, overheating, the locks etc all work, and it looks nice. Only fault that i can see is that fuel guage works - it reads full when tank is full, but then when it reads empty the tank still has lots of petrol in. Drive away.”

 This is a nice car - it is low mileage, has MOT until 24th November, and it runs really well. It doesn"t overheat or anything like that. It has two sets of keys, original handbook, and some history. The engine is smooth, it"s been serviced recently, and there are lots of receipts. Some of the service history shows the oil being changed every 2000 miles or so. It has recently been serviced and has clean oil and a new air filter. There are several old MOT"s which help support the low mileage. The service history isn"t complete but there is a fair amount of it.  All of the locks work, as to the lights etc. After the last MOT it had the king pin and front wheel bearing changed, due to an advisory. It"s got good tyres and a new spare (shown). The interior is in pretty good contidion - not perfect but good. You can see where a radio was fitted, but if you fit a new one it will look fine. The paint work is good - it looks smart in appearance, although it is 26 years old so you can see it has been touched up etc. However it is presentable and would look better with a t cut. It"s not pristine. There is a can of specially colour matched paint, unused, to go with the car.
The car is in daily use and has not let me down. The only fault that I can find is the occasional small blemish, and also the fuel gauge works - it reads full when the tank is full, goes down smoothly, but when it reads empty you can only fit a few litres in - so the tank isn"t empty. I"ve driven hundreds of miles on an empty reading. Perhaps the sender unit needs adjusting or something, it has never botherd me.
The chassis is galvanised so there is no rot there.
There is a spare engine and alternator. I got it with the car. I was told it was a good one, but I can"t vouch for that. My friend did a compression test on it and that was good. You can have the engine  if you want it.

I would take an offer of 650 but you want to pay this you would need to come to see it, make sure that you are happy with it, and complete the deal before I mark it as sold - until then it is still on sale. The car is taxed so it can be driven home - the tax gets cancelled when the new owner is registered, but it would take a while for this to go through the post so you would not get pulled on the way home.
I have described this honestly, but it is an old car - it may have other minor faults or imperfections, please visit to look at it to satisfy yourself. However if you bid, you bid to buy. Sorry for adopting this tone but I"ve really been messed around in the past
