Yes you did read it correctly v8 Reliant robin famously known as Rockin Robin.I am only going to advertise this once,there is so much to say i will try and keep it short.I first saw this at york dragway in 1991 were it was up agains sierra cosworths and leaving them like they were standing still i was amazed i had the chance to buy the car that day but never did that was a thing i regretted for 16 years i did try to build one but way to complicated for me,16 years later i managed to track down the car and i bought it,this has been the most scariest veichle i have ever been in it is road legal and was taxed and tested 2 years ago.It was crowned the fastest Reliant robin in the world !I have done many shows with this and i guarntee it steals the show every time people are amazed and if you want to be replying to questions all day this is for you.There is lots of provenance to come with the car it won the del boy derby with uncle Albert from only fools and horses attending, and lots of articles in the papers about Rockin robin also lots of pictures of the build.It has not been used for two years but stored in a dry garage it needs some tlc to get her up and running i have not tried,very good v8 engine with a 4 speed manual gearbox.We were invited to top gear for the Reliant topic and was a great day out.You can see it in action on you tube just type in Reliant v8 you will see it when it was blue in the nineties and then white when i bought it.This is one fast car and has to be treated with respect or it will bite you back it can spin the wheels at 70 mph oh the handling is good as the weight is central.Reason for sale we are moving abroad and if it does not sell it is coming with me.The starting price is what i think it is worth as you will not see another.
