This rare model represents an opportunity to acquire both a piece of Rolls-Royce history and an interesting example of the coachbuilder’s craft.  Associated with a sophisticated life-style this elegant Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is ready for touring.  The vendor purchased this four door convertible in January 2012 from its previous single family ownership.
Original, well preserved peacock blue paintwork is in remarkable condition.  The dove grey interior is particularly luxurious, with fine leather upholstery and a lovely walnut veneer dashboard and door cappings.   The interior is complemented by deep midnight blue carpets and rear seat foot rests.  White Wall Avon tyres ensure a smooth journey.
Boasting main dealer and independent specialist service history with invoices on file from 1975, Logbook, service history and MOT certificates are available.  The car has recently benefited from a 6,000 miles service with DEW Car Services of Eynsham, Rolls Royce & Bentley specialists.  2013 saw the completion of an engine tune, gearbox service, re-veneering of the door cappings, a brake overhaul, replacement of the fuel pump with an original-type Lucas unit and attention to the rear suspension.  The odometer currently reads a warranted 122, 000 miles from new.  The hood is in excellent condition.  MOT valid to April 2016.
