FOR SALE Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit V8 6.8L 1983 (Y reg); 66,000 miles; MOT until May 2017For sale due to the passing of the owner, my father. This beautiful example of the Silver Spirit has been in the same family for 32 years. She has only covered 66,000 miles, averaging only 2,000 miles a year. She has always been garaged and driven regularly.
The car comes with the original owner’s manual and wallet. Included in the sale are the original toolkit, fire extinguisher and a Mercedes battery charger. The private number plate is available by separate negotiation.
The exterior paint finish is Cotswold beige (gold) metallic and is in very good condition. The impeccable interior is tan leather piped with dark brown, with sheepskin over-rugs, tan carpets and tan footstools. A Sony radio/CD player compliments the interior. All tyres are in good condition.
All the original refinements are present, such as electric windows, electric wing mirrors, air conditioning, height adjustable driver and passenger seats, power steering, cruise control, central locking.
Originally sold in 1983 by Rolls Royce main dealers, HA Fox of Torquay. She has a full specialist service history starting with HA Fox, Torquay until closure in 1994 and then with one of their senior RR technicians ever since. Available documents include MOTs from 2002 onwards, tax discs from 1992 onwards, as well as a folder of invoices dating back to 1983; a wealth of well documented genuine history.
This era of Rolls Royce cars is now starting to appreciate, she is a great investment and a joy to drive. Ideal perhaps for a wedding / prom rental business or to just travel in the absolute luxury that only a Rolls Royce can provide.
